Dog parks are in vogue. If you and your tail-wagging pals would like to join in the outdoor fun, it might be a good idea to know some tips and basics about appropriate behavior when exuberant pooches are unleashed in the puppy playland.

The Pompano Beach Department of Parks and Recreation is holding a free dog park etiquette program Monday, Nov. 2. The program is also to be offered other first Mondays of the month.

The program is for people only 7:30 p.m at the Civic Center.
