The name Fredric J. Baur is nowhere near as famous as his invention; the Pringles potato chip can. Before his passing, Mr. Baur’s request was that his family cremate his body and use his beloved invention to hold his ashes. The College Hill, Ohio resident was 89 when he passed away. Baur was a chemist and food storage technician.
