Rev. Al Sharpton Arrested

Early reports are surfacing stating that Reverend Al Sharpton has been arrested in New York City following an act of civil disobedience protesting the shooting of Sean Bell.

The protest took place earlier this afternoon and follows the not guilty verdicts handed down to New York City police officers late last month. Sharpton was arrested at the base of the Brooklyn Bridge along with Bell’s former fiancée and the two survivors.
