“Cheech like peach and Chong like dong.” Cheech and Chong, the inimitable comedy duo responsible for countless comedy albums and several hit movies like “Up In Smoke”, “Still Smoking”, “Things Are Tough All Over” and more, are coming to the Fillmore at The Jackie Gleason Theater on September 27th at 7 p.m. Tickets start at about $40 and if the Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong make it through their first few performances together, Miami may be in for a treat.

Tommy Chong recently made an appearance on the Howard Stern Show to promote his new book, “Cheech & Chong: The Unauthorized Autobiography”. During the interview, Chong spoke at length about the falling out between him and Cheech, an instance which many think may reoccur during the tour.

In a recent interview, comedian George Lopez was asked about the reunion and was quoted as saying, “I know both guys. I wish them the best and I was always hoping they’d get back together"..."I think of any comedy, they’re the best living duo on earth, one of the few comedy teams - Laurel and Hardy, Burns and Schreiber, and Cheech & Chong is our version of Laurel and Hardy."

When asked if they'll last all the way through these shows, George says "They might not. I’ll tell you this: they’re not going to fly together and they may not stay in the same hotel room, so...”
